Growing up, sports were the heartbeat of my life, teaching me lessons that have shaped who I am today. Whether it was soccer, lacrosse, softball, or basketball, each game instilled in me the values of resilience, teamwork, and perseverance. My experience playing Division 1 soccer at VCU further deepened these lessons, pushing me to my limits both physically and mentally. It taught me the true meaning of discipline, sacrifice, and the importance of collaboration with teammates from diverse backgrounds.
On and off the field, I learned how to embrace challenges, adapt to change, and always keep striving for improvement. These experiences weren’t just about excelling in the game—they were about personal growth, building lasting relationships, and understanding that success comes from dedication and relentless effort.
As I transitioned through college, I discovered a new passion for fashion, which, like sports, combines creativity, teamwork, and the drive to push boundaries. The lessons I learned on the field have seamlessly translated into my pursuit of a career in fashion, and I’m excited to take these values into this new chapter of my life.
